CASTING

The opera piccola - a Viennese opera company for young and motivated singers.

It is difficult for young singers to get possibilities to sing on stage. Thanks to the big number of opera houses and companies in Austria and Germany there are more chances for them than in other countries.

The opera piccola gives this chance to young artists to get first stage experience.

Singers from all around the world (Belgium, Brazil, Chile, England, Ireland, Serbia Bosnia, Slovenia, Canada, Austria, USA, Germany) have had the opportunity to cooperate with opera piccola.

Opera piccola as a private initiative without support from the state, therefore the enthusiasm and pleasure from the stage work should be the main motivations for young artists.

The opera piccola has been the springboard to the career of some greatly talented artist who are now performing in renown opera houses, such as, Martin Dillon [USA], Millienko Turk [Croatia] - Volksoper Vienna, Salzburg Festival.
