Be welcome to opera piccola

Founded in and for Bremen and primarily for all music lovers in the world. Since february 2003 we produce in Vienna.

With modest means we produce comprehesible and amusing operas. The most important for us is to highlight in all our operas the main conflicts, which have always been valid, such as, love up and downs, jealousy, revenge, pursuit of power, tragic failures. In our opinion, the decoration and luxury costumes distract the public from the important subjects.

 That is how we create up to three operas a year, classical as well as contemporary, operettes and musicals.

 Young and talented singers, specially selected on the basis of their stage personality, trasport our concept    to the public.

 A special rehearsal programme helps them to develop their stage skills.

The association of opera piccola supports the idea. Its  members take care of the organisation, technical side of performances and provide pr contacts and housing for the artists. If you want to join the association, please feel very welcome to contact us.
